There are hundreds and thousands of different sports. Some you might have heard, some watched, and some you may have even played. There are some sports which are more famous than others. For example, football or basketball. Some are harder than others like boxing, and some are just for fun. However, no matter what sport you are thinking of there’s one thing for sure-the adrenaline rush it gives you!

Sure, there are many ways to get that adrenaline rush to flow. However, for some, competition, speed and danger are cherries on top. Today’s blog talks about the different types of sports that include motorcycles, so if you’re a fan of motorcycles, this one is for you!

Here Are 3 Motorcycle Sports You Will Love:

1. Track Racing

I’m sure motorcycle racing was one of the first motorcycle sports that came to your mind, right? After all, it is the most famous one. However, did you know that there are a few types of track racing? Let’s get into them one by one.

  • Auto race, which is also said to be a gambling sport, is a Japanese sport where motorcyclists compete on tarmac tracks.
  • Speedway is a sport where motorcycles race around a circular track with one gear and no breaks! Yes, you read that right!
  • Ice speedway, which is the same as speedway racing, only on ice and on an anti-clockwise track.

Road racing is a sport where motorcyclists race whether by teams or individually in a circular track.

2. Motoball

If you have friends who happen to be a motorcycle sports fan like you, get ready to play one of the craziest sports ever. So, what is motoball to be exact? In simple words, motoball is football except all the players are riding motorcycles instead of using their feet. If you are surprised by this sport, I’m here to tell you that motoball sport was first played in 1929 in France and has a large following.

If you are intrigued to know how to play motoball, it is similar to the normal football/soccer as we all know. For example, players are not allowed to use their hands nor their arms except when you are the goalkeeper. The game in total is played 5 on 5, each team including 4 players which should be on their bikes and a goalkeeper.

3. X-Games

Being one of the biggest motorcycle sports, these x games can highlight the art of these dirt bikes. Let me explain. These riders (of course after years of practice) perform tricks such as backflips, jumps, race and ride, sometimes keeping only one hand on the bike!

These tricks have their own weird names such as:

  1. Indian Air Seat Grab Back Flip
  2. Double front flip and double back flip
  3. Kiss of Death Backflip
  4. Heart attack
  5. Rock Solid Back Flip

As you can see, there is only one thing that these names scream: “DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME”. There are many tips for dirt bike beginners that you should follow such as start by driving dirt bikes normally – do not rush yourself – it’s okay to fall a few times but make sure to stand up every time you fall.
